Olympics 2018: Michelle Gisin wins combination gold before Shiffrin

Michelle Gisin wins the women’s alpine combination at the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang. The Swiss player wins 97 hundredths of a second ahead of top favourite Mikaela Shiffrin (USA). Wendy Holdener (SUI/+1.44 sec.) wins the bronze medal.

Ramona Siebenhofer (+2.55 sec.) finishes seventh, Ricarda Haaser (+3.91 sec.) finishes 13th. Lindsey Vonn, leader after the descent, retires in slalom.
