After the German national ice hockey team reached the final of the Olympic Winter Games with a sensational victory over Canada, there are already speculations about the future of national coach Marco Sturm. Will the 39-year-old coach in the NHL soon?

Pierre LeBrun, one of Canada’s biggest hockey experts, is the star of the world’s top professional league, and he is the first to talk about Sturm for a coaching position in the world’s best professional league.

On Twitter, LeBrun wrote:”I wonder what coach prospects Marco Sturm now has after Germany’s surprising run? Could it lead him to an NHL job in the off-season?”

Sturm has been the national coach of the DEB team since July 2015. Since then, he and his team have won the Germany Cup and reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup twice in a row.
