Olympia 2018: National anti-doping agencies towards the end of Russia’s sanctions

iNADO, the association of 68 national anti-doping agencies, has spoken out clearly against an end to Russia’s suspension.

“Institutionalised doping has been proven by various investigations. It was recognised by all official bodies, but not by the Russian authorities,”said a statement from the Bonn-based organization, of which the German NADA is a member.

Rather, iNADO called on the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to lift the conditions only after certain criteria have been met. These included, among other things, the recognition of the findings of the McLaren reports, the investigations by the IOC Commissions and the end of the whistleblower attacks.
