Olympia 2018: Ice Hockey: Canada wins bronze medal

After the sensational semi-final K. o. against the German national ice hockey team, record Olympic gold medallist Canada has picked up and finished the winter games in Pyeongchang with a bronze medal.

In the small final, the team consisting mainly of European legionaries prevailed against the Czech Republic with 6:4 (3:1,0:0,3:3). It was the total of 16. Olympic medal for the motherland of ice-hockey – but only a small comfort.

Andrew Ebbett (9th/46th), Chris Kelly (10th/50th), Derek Roy (16th) and Wojtek Wolski (56th) scored the goals for the nine-time Olympic champion, who lost 3:4 against the DEB selection on Friday. Martin Ruzicka (10th), Jan Kovar (47th) and Roman Cervenka (57st/58th) met for the Czechs, who had failed with 0:3 to record world champion Russia.
