Olympia 2018: Snowboard Olympic champion Dujmovits announces career end

The snowboard Olympic champion of 2014, Julia Dujmovits, has announced a career end after this season at the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang after the disappointing parallel giant slalom.

In an interview with ORF after her last sixteen, she said:”Live you can hardly lie. Yes, it will be. I’m happy to see something new after the season.”

The remaining three World Cup races will be contested by Dujmovits, then the Burgenländerin will be over. The 30-year-old won gold in parallel slalom at the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi and won two silver medals in her career.
