Olympia 2018: Speed skating: South Korean Lee first mass start winner

South Korean speed skater Lee Seung Hoon has been voted the first Olympic gold medallist in the mass start at the Pyeongchang Winter Games.

The 2010 gold medallist over 10,000m of 2010, who had already won silver in the team pursuit at competitions in his home country, won the first Olympic event before the Belgian Bart Swings.

A bronze medal went to the Dutchman Koen Verweij, who became Olympic champion in team pursuit four years ago in Sochi. German speed skaters were not at the start.
