Olympia 2018: Trouble with Team Canada: Trio steals car, alcohol in the game

A Canadian athlete, his wife and manager were arrested in Pyeongchang on Saturday night after an alcohol drive in a stolen car.

This is reported by the Canadian channel CBC Sports, citing the South Korean police. The Olympic participant involved is said to be ski-crosser David Duncan.

The Canadian Olympic Committee NOC confirmed on Saturday that there was an incident, but it didn’t name any names:”Something happened around midnight with police involvement,”said Chris Overholt, CEO of NOC.

Allegedly, the trio discovered an open car with a running engine, got in and rushed off. Then the thieves were stopped by the police. I heard the manager was driving. The officials apparently found an alcohol level of 1.6 per mille.
