DEL: Rental agreement for the Krefeld Pinguine venue extended

The Krefeld Penguins from the German Ice Hockey League play for another year in the KönigPALAST. As the club announced on Thursday, an agreement was reached with Seidenweberhaus GmbH to extend the rental agreement for all DEL home games of the 2018/19 season.

“The new lease is a compromise we can all live with. Despite the different positions, it was always a matter of trustful discussions that we are being maintained, especially in view of the short runtime,”said penguin managing director Matthias Roos.

In the past, there had been a dispute between the association and the city’s subsidiary Seidenweberhaus GmbH over the terms of an extension of the rental agreement.
