Handball: Heavy snowfall: HBL match between Flensburg and Wetzlar cancelled

The match of the Handball Bundesliga between the SG Flensburg-Handewitt and HSG Wetzlar, scheduled for Thursday evening, is cancelled.

This joint decision was announced by the Handball Bundesliga and hosts Flensburg a few hours before the start of the match on the recommendation of several authorities due to “very bad weather conditions caused by heavy snowfall”.

“After extensive discussions and evaluations, we have decided to cancel today’s home game for the protection of all spectators, employees, helpers and players,”said SG Managing Director Dierk Schmäschke. The game is scheduled for 7. or 8. The exact date has not yet been fixed.
