DEL: Augsburg Panther extend with goalkeeper Olivier Roy

The Augsburg Panthers continue to rely on goalkeeper Olivier Roy (26) and have extended the contract with their number one goalkeeper by one year until 2019. This was announced by the German Ice Hockey League’s twelfth place in the standings on Friday.

In November, the Canadian Roy had moved from the DEL 2 from Eispiraten Crimmitschau to Augsburg. Since then, Roy has been scoring 21 games in the DEL with a conceding goal average of 2.72 and a catch rate of 92 percent for the Panthers.
