NBA: Media: Muhammad after Buyout to the Bucks

According to media reports, Shabazz Muhammad and the Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed on a buyout. The forward seems to have a new club. The Milwaukee Bucks will take the 25-year-old and release Guard Sean Kilpatrick in return.

This is reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Accordingly, the Wolves and Muhammad agreed on a buyout on Thursday evening. Minnesota re-contracted the wing player in the summer, hoping that Muhammad can play an important role from the bank. However, this was not the case and Muhammad collected 32 DNPs in the last 43 games.

The Bucks, on the other hand, are still looking for wing players and will probably sign the upcoming Free Agent. Since Milwaukee currently occupies all 15 Rosterspots, the bucks are dismissed for it Guard Sean Kilpatrick, whom they signed only a month ago.

Muhammad was selected by the Timberwolves at number 14 in the 2013 draft, but it never really prevailed in the far north. In five NBA years, the 25-year-old put on an average of 9 points and 2.8 rebounds.
