The German disabled athletes will be awarded the 12. Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang (9. till 18. The same success rates as in the winter of 2014 in Sochi and in the summer of 2016 in Rio de Janeiro. For gold there is another 20,000 euros, for silver 15,000 and for bronze 10,000 euros.

The rules apply analogously to the Olympic Winter Games, but instead of the placings of one to eight at the Paralympics, only the first three places are rewarded. Premiums are paid over a period of twelve months.

Four years ago in Sochi, Sporthilfe für Olympische Spiele und Paralympics paid out a total of 548,500 euros in success bonuses. Two years later, at the Summer Games in Rio, it was around 1.5 million euros.
