NFL: Los Angeles Rams trades Robert Quinn to the Miami Dolphins

The Los Angeles Rams traded their defensive back Robert Quinn to the Miami Dolphins. In return, the rams receive a mid-round draft pick and there is an exchange of late-round picks.

The trade of the two-time pro bowler is the second big name after Cornerback Marcus Peters, which General Manager Les Snead takes ashore. Initially, the Rams Quinn had offered the Kansas City Chiefs as part of the exchange for Peters, but the deal came off without Quinn.

The trade of the two-time Pro Bowler, like all other transfers, can only start on the 14th day. They will be announced on March 9 when the new NFL year officially begins. Quinn himself learned about his Francise switch during a conference call with the Dolphins, ESPN reports.

Last season, Quinn scored 8.5 sacks and 32.5 tackles. He’s got two years left with a $24 million guaranteed salary.
