After the first slalom run, the Austrian double Olympic gold medallist is in the lead. Permanent rivals Kristoffersen (Norway/+0.82 seconds) and Andre Myhrer (Sweden/+0.99 seconds) finished second and third respectively. Thirdly, there was a respectable gap with the half-time leader, who was able to cope best with the difficult conditions. Michael Matt is the second-best Austrian in fourth place (+1.22 seconds).
