Basketball: Schröder becomes associate in Brunswick:”A matter of the heart”.

NBA professional Dennis Schröder (24) becomes a partner in his home club Basketball Löwen Braunschweig. Atlanta Hawks’s playmaker enters the 2018/19 season, as announced by the German Bundesliga team on Monday after talks in the USA.

“I am very happy that I was able to show the lion-manager a little bit of my world in Atlanta. However, I am even more pleased to be a partner of the lions in the future,”said the international player:” It is a matter of heart for me to support my home club.

Schröder takes over the shares of STAAKE Investment & Consulting, which entered the company after the former name sponsor and shareholder New Yorker left the company. The commitment of the NBA professional ensures compliance with the licensing requirements for next season’s equity increase.

“In the past weeks and months we have had many intensive discussions with Dennis Schröder. In these we looked at what support from him might look like and it became more than clear how seriously Dennis approached this issue,”said Paul Anfang, Chairman of the Lions’ Supervisory Board:” We are very happy that our’ Braunschweiger Jung’ is now joining us as a shareholder.

Beginning and his deputy Michael Reinhart met last week in Atlanta with Schröder, his brother Che Secka and Liviu Calin, assistant coach of the lions and discoverer of the basketball pro. Talks were also held with the Hawks. According to the Braunschweiger, the NBA club can imagine making its know-how and help available in various areas.

Schröder moved from the Bundesliga club to the NBA in the 2013/14 season and has been playing for Atlanta ever since.
