NBA: Media: Blazers get Papagiannis

For the Sacramento Kings, Georgios Papagiannis was considered a big misunderstanding. Now, according to Adrian Wojnarowski (ESPN), the Greek gets a chance with the Portland Trail Blazers.

According to the insider, Papagiannis will sign a 10-day contract with the Blazers and will try to recommend himself for further tasks.

Papagiannis was surprised by the Kings in 2016 at 13. However, it was not able to establish itself there in two seasons. As a rookie he was used 22 times and scored 5.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in the game, in the current season there were only 16 bets (2.1 points, 2.3 rebounds).

Since the Kings did not find a buyer for him, they dismissed Papagiannis for the Trade Deadline on 8. February from his contract. Now he should be playing in Portland for his NBA future. The deal has not yet been confirmed by the team.

The Blazers are currently in third place at the Western Conference with a 39-26 record.
