NFL: Buffalo Bills sign up for Running Back Chris Ivory

The Buffalo Bills had already invested in their backfield before the Free Agency started: Buffalo made the official commitment of Running Back Chris Ivory on Tuesday, Ivory had previously been dismissed by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

According to information from NFL network insider Ian Rapoport, the contract is for a period of two years and will bring Ivory up to six million dollars. The contract will be guaranteed to receive 3.25 million dollars in the first year.

After his only 1,000-yard NFL season in Jacksonville, the 29-year-old had only rarely won over the Jets 2015 (1,070 rushing yards, 4.3 yards per run) in Jacksonville. In 2016, he only managed to score 439 rushing yards at 3.8 yards per run, in the shade of Leonard Fournette last season, he only managed to score 382 rushing yards (3.4 yards).

In Buffalo, Ivory seems to be a kind of complement to LeSean McCoy. Nevertheless, it can be assumed that the Bills will also look for alternatives in the once again low-flying draft.
