NFL: Richard Sherman apparently leaving Seattle Seahawks

Richard Sherman is about to leave the Seattle Seahawks. NFL network insider Ian Rapoport reports that the Cornerback has said goodbye to his team-mates in the past 24 hours and will not return to the team in the new season.

An official statement by Sherman or the Seahawk is still pending. However, the 29-year-old is due to meet Head Coach Pete Carroll and General Manager John Schneider on Wednesday to discuss his future.

Sherman was elected in the 5. Round draughted by the seahawks. In the 2013 season, the four-time Pro Bowler won the Super Bowl XLVII with Seattle.
