Ski Alpin: Shiffrin wins slalom world cup in Ofterschwang with victory

As expected, Mikaela Shiffrin has already secured the small crystal ball in Ofterschwang for winning the slalom classification in the Alpine Ski World Cup. The US-American did this in a sovereign manner on Saturday with her 11th birthday. Victory of the season.

The best Austrian was Katharina Gallhuber, the bronze medal winner of Pyeongchang came in fifth place. Bernadette Schild was sixth.

Shiffrin has been the overall World Cup winner since the previous day. The ÖSV women’s team performed well: Katharina Liensberger (10th), Carmen Thalmann (11th) and Katharina Truppe (13th) finished in the front midfield. Stephanie Brunner retired in the decision.
