Snowboard: Konstantin Schad and Paul Berg in Moscow on places ten and twelve

The German snowboarders missed the podium places at the penultimate Cross World Cup of the season. In the sprint races in the snowdrift of Moscow, Konstantin Schad (Miesbach) and Paul Berg (Konstanz) achieved the best results with places ten and twelve.

The Olympic eight Martin Nörl (Adlkofen) was eliminated in the quarter-finals and finished 17th. Rank. For his sixth victory in the overall Cross World Cup, Olympic champion Pierre Vaultier (France) was satisfied with second place behind the Austrian Alessandro Hämmerle.

In the women’s category, Michela Moioli (Italy) also prematurely secured second place behind Czech day’s winner Eva Samkova. German boarders were not at the start in the Russian capital. The World Cup final will take place next Saturday in Veysonnaz/Switzerland.
