Alpine Skiing: Passes the Stockerl with Jansrud success in Super G

The bad result in yesterday’s departure seems to have been a flash in the pan: for the first time in this super-G season, the ÖSV riders are not racing on the podium for the first time, but Max Franz and Hannes Reichelt provide for halfway happy faces with ambitious rides.

Kjetil Jansrud, a Norwegian who benefits from the loss of his fiercest rival Aksel Lund Svindal before the end of a race and who wins the World Cup with his victory in Kvitfjell, is the man behind the Super-G crown. Beat Feuz and the young Norwegian Adrian Sejersted followed in second and third place, Hannes Reichelt finished sixth, just ahead of his compatriot Max Franz.
