The Golden State Warriors currently have to do without Stephen Curry. According to Kevin Durant, this influences the dubs enormously. Steve Kerr also complained about the current situation of his team.
“It’s funny to play without him[Stephen Curry],”Durant said after the recent defeat against Minnesota Timberwolves. It was the second bankruptcy in a row for the champion, where Curry could not get involved because of his bad ankle. After all, the double MVP is expected back soon.
Curry is not the only casualty in Oakland, however:”Whether Iguodala, David West or Jordan Bell – we all miss them very much,”Durant says. It makes a difference, of course, whether he or Steph is on the court – but he does a fantastic job and I’m proud of him,”Durant explained.
Steve Kerr also complained about all the injuries:”We’re in a tough situation,”said the head coach,”and I’m really proud of our boys. Even today[against the Timberwolves] we gave everything, but in the end we didn’t have enough in the tank. In the next week or two we will hopefully get some of the injured players back. Then I’m optimistic for the rest of the season.”
