NBA: Media: Theis before meniscus surgery and season out

Daniel Theis has apparently contracted a meniscus tear in his left knee. The German rookie center of Boston Celtics could be cancelled for the rest of the season.

This reports Yahoo reporter Shams Charania. Theis had to undergo an operation that would mean the end of the Big Man’s season.

Theis was on the court for 19 minutes at his comeback after two games break due to a bruise in his thigh against the Indiana Pacers. It is not known whether he sustained the injury in the game or in training.

In addition to Theis, Celtics are also trembling for their superstar Kyrie Irving. The All-Star could not finish the match against Indiana due to an inflammation of the left knee.
