Handball: Bundesliga: SC DHfK Leipzig binds Maximilian Janke until 2021

SC DHfK Leipzig has prematurely extended the contract with international player Maximilian Janke by two years until 2021. This was announced by the club on Wednesday,”Max has made excellent progress in recent years. He is an intelligent and complete player with excellent decision-making skills. We are very happy to have Max on our team in the coming years,”said coach Michael Biegler.

The 25-year-old backroom player moved from Magdeburg to Leipzig in 2015. However, Janke was not convinced by the European Championship debacle in Croatia in January.

National coach Christian Prokop decided not to play Serbia for the two international matches on 4-4 October. April in Leipzig and three days later in Dortmund on his nomination.
