Basketball: EuroLeague: Brose Bamberg celebrates clear victory against Anadolu Istanbul

German series champion Brose Bamberg celebrated his tenth victory in the EuroLeague in 26th place. Game celebrated. The team of coach Luca Banchi won 88:79 (44:41) against Anadolu Efes Istanbul, last in the Turkish standings, and improved by one position to twelfth in the table.

Placing in the playoffs of Europe’s top eight teams is only theoretically possible, however, if Bamberg wins the remaining four games and several rivals regularly fail.

In the Brose Arena, which was sold out with 6150 spectators, the hosts pulled up after a balanced first half with a 14:2 run at the beginning of the third quarter and took away Banchi’s second victory in the third match on the Bamberg sideline.

The best scorers on the Bundesliga standings were Dorell Wright and Leon Radosevic with 15 points each and Augustine Rubit with 14 points. For Istanbul, top scorer Errick McCollum contributed 21 points.
