THW Kiel has tied the exceptional talent Lukas Nilsson to the club for a long time. The 21-year-old Swedish international prematurely extended his contract with THW by two years until 2021.

Rückraumspieler Nilsson is one of the top performers among the Kielers.

“Lukas has matured enormously over the past year and a half,” said THW trainer Alfred Gislason:”He has an unbelievable throw and a pronounced understanding of the game, and is also much calmer in front of the goal after his acclimatization period. Sports director Viktor Szilagyi described the extension of the contract as”an exclamation point in this difficult time for us in sport”.
