Alpine Skiing: Women’s RTL in Aare cancelled, Rebensburg wins World Cup

The Women’s Alpine Ski World Cup ends prematurely and with a cancellation of the giant slalom in Aare.

Due to strong winds and snowstorms the jury around Atle Skaardal does not see fair conditions and decides not to hold the last race anymore.

Thus the small crystal ball goes to the German Viktoria Rebensburg in the discipline evaluation. Tessa Worley from France, who still had a chance of winning the RTL World Cup, looks through her fingers.

For the men’s slalom, the conditions in Aare are expected to be less problematic; it is scheduled to take place at 10:45 a.m. for the time being.
