Biathlon: Dahlmeier and Hildebrand award victory in pursuit at the shooting range

Double Olympic champion Laura Dahlmeier and Franziska Hildebrand missed a victory at the Biathlon World Cup in Oslo because of mistakes in the last shooting. In the 10km pursuit, the duo led the field before they both committed two penalty rounds.

Dahlmeier, when 28. had to make do with seventh place. Hildebrand reached the finish at the 14. Vanessa Hinz (2) moved up to tenth place.

Darya Domrachevaeva (Belarus) celebrated her fourth World Cup victory this winter despite two penalty rounds. The three-time Olympic champion from Sochi won ahead of Anastasiya Kuzmina from Slovakia (4/+9.2 seconds) and Susan Dunklee from the USA (2/29.5).

Maren Hammerschmidt (1) made it as 17. still in the top 20. Franziska Preuß (3) on position 25 and Denise Herrmann (3) on position 28. did not succeed in doing so.

At the end of the penultimate World Cup in the Olympic season, the men’s relay race will take place from 2.45 pm (LIVETICKER). Next week, the World Cup final in Tyumen will take place, which some nations will boycott due to the doping problem in Russia.
