Biathlon: Hildebrand thinks about career end

Two-time relay world champion Franziska Hildebrand will probably end her career as a biathlete after this season. This is mainly for private reasons,” Hildebrand told ARD on Facebook:”Physically, however, it’s no problem.

Hildebrand, who has so far clinched two World Cup victories, will celebrate her 31st birthday next Saturday. Birthday. She is now”at such an age that I think about what comes after sports in life,” Hildebrand said.

Most recently, she had caused unrest within the team, as she had criticised national coach Gerald Hönig for his line-up in the Olympic relay race. However, she did not want to start a trainer discussion.
