Golf: McIlroy calls for alcohol limit for golf fans:”Gives me a headache

Former world number one Rory McIlroy has had enough of drunken fans and is therefore calling for a limit on the sale of alcohol on golf courses.

“That’s giving me a headache,” said the Nordire on the fringes of the US tournament in Orlando, according to ESPN. The topic is”tedious”.

On Saturday’s third round, a drunken man repeatedly dropped out in the audience: “A guy kept calling out my wife’s name,” McIlroy said: “I went to talk to him. And he’s had a little too much to be honest.”

They have to limit the sale of alcohol on the market. Or do something else, because it gets worse every week,” McIlroy said. Superstar Tiger Woods is more relaxed: “As long as they don’t shout when they hit, everything is okay,” said the US-American: “They have a good time. It’s a joke.”
