NBA: Celtics-GM Ainge files alleged setback from Hayward

Recently Danny Ainge, GM of Boston Celtics, drew attention to himself with the statement that Gordon Hayward had to accept a “setback” in his regeneration. In an interview with the Boston Herald, he filed this statement.

“Sometimes I talk too much,” Ainge admitted.”Setback wasn’t the right word. Let me explain, because it wasn’t right to put it that way.”

Hayward had trained on an anti-gravity treadmill for the first time in a long time – and felt his wound. That’s all,” Ainge explained.

“I used the word’setback’ and it became a headline,” said Ainge, who did not blame the media: “It was blown up, but I am personally responsible for it.”
