MLB: Diamondbacks: Steven Souza Jr.

Outfielder Steven Souza Jr. a shoulder injury has occurred. The Arizona Diamondbacks announced that the new addition will undergo an MRI.

At 0:14 in the D-backs’ jump training game against the San Francisco Giants, Souza left the game in the fourth inning after he piked for a ball but missed it. After initial diagnosis, he suffered a strained shoulder.

He remained on the ground in the right-center field and was visibly in pain while waiting for the caregivers. He finally left the field under his own steam, but held his arm.
