NHL: Kühnhackl and Holzer on course for play-offs

German internationals Tom Kühnhackl and Korbinian Holzer are heading for playoffs in the NHL. Striker Kühnhackl was on the ice 7’24” against record champion Montreal Canadians in Pittsburgh Penguins’ 5’3″ titleholder. Defender Holzer made it 14’23” for Anaheim Ducks 4-0 in the Calgary Flames. Both remained without a scorer point.

A defeat in extra time was enough for the Boston Bruins to secure early entry to the playoffs. At the St. Louis Blues lost 2-1 to the six-time Stanley Cup winner, but secured the decisive point with the extra time. Boston is second in the Atlantic Division behind Tampa Bay Lightning.
