Alpine Skiing: Ferstl and few German Super-G Champions

Josef Ferstl celebrated another success at the end of the alpine skiing season. The winner of the World Cup Super-G in Val Gardena/Italy last December secured the German title in this discipline on Friday.

Ferstl, whose form curve has been pointing downwards since his surprising success in the meantime, won ahead of Manuel Schmid and Andreas Sander.

Michaela Wenig won her second women’s title after winning the downhill race. Second and third places went to Meike Pfister and Veronique Hronek.
