DEL: Dimitriew returns to Iserlohn

Striker Alexei Dimitriev returns to the Iserlohn Roosters from the DEL eleven years after his departure. The 32-year-old will only be moving from the Düsseldorf EC to Lake Seilersee next season and has signed a two-year contract.

“Alexei is a valuable team player with particular individual strengths. That’s why we decided to take him to the Seilersee,” said Roosters manager Karsten Mende.

The DEL career of Dimitriew, a native of Belarus, began at the Roosters in the 2005/06 season. Later Dimitriew played for the Cologne Sharks and the Berlin Polar Bears, among others.
