NBA: Suns begin the search for a head coach

The Phoenix Suns have apparently started to look intensively for a new head coach. Jay Triano has reason to hope for a permanent position.

ESPN reports that they received this information from Suns-GM Ryan McDonough, “It’s going to be hard work because the market is very competitive,” McDonough said, “The Grizzlies and Bucks are in a similar situation as we are in with interim coaches and are looking for them.

Therefore, candidates are to be identified and evaluated at an early stage in Phoenix. Jay Triano, who has been with the team since Earl Watson’s early dismissal on 22 March, will be in charge. ESPN are hoping to be permanently employed as head coach.
