NFL: Terrelle Pryor moves to the New York Jets

The free agency odyssey of Terrelle Pryor is over. Pryor, who last met with the Seattle Seahawks, among others, reached an agreement with the New York Jets on Thursday.

NFL network insider Ian Rapoport announced the agreement, the duration of the contract and the financial details are not yet known. Besides the seahawks and the jets, the browns were also interested.

From a team perspective, however, reunification with Cleveland should only take place within a certain financial framework. That’s what the jets beat.

Pryor still has one of the more unusual NFL careers to show: Originally coming to the Oakland Raiders as a quarterback, he changed his position after a few years – and started out as a wide receiver.

In his first full season as a starting receiver, he promptly cracked the 1,000-yard mark in Cleveland and was one of last year’s more sought-after free agents. Last season, however, the Redskins had hardly any collapse, now he can play his way back into the limelight of the jets.
