Ice Hockey: NHL: Defeats for Kühnhackl and Holzer

German national ice hockey players Tom Kühnhackl and Korbinian Holzer and their teams lost in the NHL.

Attacker Kühnhackl and Stanley Cup winner Pittsburgh Penguins lost 3-4 after extra time against the New Jersey Devils, Holzer and the Anaheim Ducks also lost 2-3 in the Sudden Death at the Winnipeg Jets.

The teams of the two Germans, who each did not score goals, have a few matchdays before the end of the regular season but still good chances of participating in the play-offs.
