NBA: Do the Magic Coach Vogel?

The unsuccessful Orlando Magic could part with their head coach Frank Vogel this summer. Only two franchises were worse in the past two seasons.

Insider Marc Stein of the New York Times writes that he has heard from NBA coaching circles that Vogel is on the brink of extinction. He trains the Magic in the second season, but never got out of the table cellar in the east.

During his tenure, only two franchises were worse – the Suns and the Nets. However, Orlando’s squad has always been very limited.

According to Orlando Sentinel, Vogel still has a contract for the coming season, which is why he would receive a settlement. Before joining the Magic, Vogel coached the Indiana Pacers. There, after five seasons in which he reached the playoffs four times, he was unexpectedly released in the summer of 2016.
