Golf: Watson and Kisner in the final of the World Golf Championship in Austin

Two-time Masters winner Bubba Watson from the USA and his compatriot Kevin Kisner will compete in the final of the ten million dollar World Golf Championship in Austin/Texas.

Watson (39) prevailed against Justin Thomas (USA) in the semi-finals of the tournament held in match play mode, thus missing out on the top of the ranking. Kisner (34) won in the jump-off at the first extra hole against the Swede Alexander Noren.

Numerous fellow favourites had already dropped out in the group stage in the Texas capital. Among others, it met world number four Jordan Spieth, industry leader Dustin Johnson (both USA) and Northern Ireland top star Rory McIlroy. German participants were not at the start.
