NBA: Curry talks about comeback in first playoff round

Warrior star Stephen Curry, injured at the knee, would like to refute the statements of his head coach Steve Kerr, after which Steph will under no circumstances play in the first playoff round.

Curry had pulled a second-degree inner ligament strain in his knee last Friday against the Hawks. He will be examined again in about three weeks before a decision is made when he will return. The playoffs start on 14. April.

On Sunday Steve Kerr had said that Curry could “by no means” intervene in the first play-off round. The Point Guard himself does not seem to take such a narrow view: “I hope I can prove it wrong,” Curry told ESPN, “I want to get back on the floor as soon as possible”.

But I try to do my job as well as possible in rehab,” his mentality is also very positive.
