DEL: Munich makes final entry perfect – crazy showdown in Berlin

The EHC Red Bull Munich is the first finalist of the German Ice Hockey League. The Red Bulls won their semi-final series with 4:1 thanks to a 5-0 (3-0, 5-0) home win over Adler Mannheim.

After just 45 seconds, Mads Christensen took the lead with his fourth play-off goal. The guests from Mannheim never found access to the game. In the middle of the second third the eagles showed an effort, but overall they experienced a class difference.

The opponents of the Munich team have not been determined yet, but the polar bears Berlin and the Nuremberg Ice Tigers are giving themselves an absolute showdown. In a roller coaster game with two lead changes and nine goals, Berlin won 5:4 (1:0, 2:2, 4:4). Canadian Mark Oliver scored the decisive goal in overtime.

With a 3:2 lead, Berlin now enters the sixth game of the best-of-seven series, which will take place on Sunday at 3 pm in Nuremberg.
