Handball: HSV is back in the professional field

Three match days before the end of the season, the Handball Sport Verein Hamburg has already made the promotion to the 2nd league perfect. Coach Torsten Jansen’s team won 28-24 at DHK Flensborg.

“It’s sensational that we’ve already done this,” said Vice President Martin Schwalb: “The second division will be a different story, but we know that.”

After the withdrawal of the license and the cancellation of HSV Handball from the Bundesliga in January 2016, the club is back in the professional field. On April 27, the promotion of the SG Flensburg-Handewitt will be celebrated with a big party.
