NFL: Landry faces mega-extension for Browns

The Cleveland Browns and Jarvis Landry have apparently agreed on further cooperation. According to several reports, the receiver should sign a long-term contract.

For Landry, the new working paper means a significant upgrading of the remuneration. The 25-year-old is expected to earn up to 75.5 million dollars over five years, guaranteed to earn at least 47 million dollars.

Landry, recently moved from the Miami Dolphins to Cleveland, would become one of the NFL’s most expensive receivers. Only Antonio Brown, Mike Evans, DeAndre Hopkins and Sammy Watkins currently earn more.

For the Browns, holding on to Landry is an important sign. He scored 8.8 yards per catch last year and landed a total of 22 touchdowns in 64 games.
