MLB: Justin Verlander gives perfect answer to fan abuse

Justin Verlander received some abuse from a home fan in the game at the Chicago White Sox on Saturday night. During the game, the six-time All-Star defended himself with a custom-made shield.

A lady who is obviously a big White Sox fan couldn’t really handle Verlander’s performance the day before when he pitched six strong innings. Throughout Saturday’s game, she kept getting carried away with creative “You suck!” shouts.

Verlander himself then disappeared into the dugout and provided an equally creative answer on a scribbled piece of paper: “No, You Suck” could be read on the sign.

The Houston Astros approved the action on their official Twitter account. “That’s outstanding,” twittered the reigning champions, who won the two previous duels in the series with 10:0 and 10:1.
