NBA: NBA and Perform Group announce multi-year media partnership

The NBA and Perform Group have announced a multi-year digital media partnership. Perform, a global media and sports content group, will manage National Basketball Association websites in over 15 countries.

In addition to Germany (NBA.de), these include countries such as Argentina, Spain, Australia, Canada, India, Japan and Mexico.

As part of the partnership, Perform will manage the official online presence of the league in selected international markets and thus reach over 15 million unique users every month. Perform will also help to make the NBA even more internationally known – with locally relevant stories, features or through the promotion of the NBA League Pass and the DAZN streaming service.

“We are delighted to work so closely with such an important rights owner as the NBA,” said Perform Media CEO Juan Delgado. “Our goal is to bring the success of the NBA into even more markets. And our unique expertise in the international field will help us in this.”

Matt Brabants, NBA Senior Vice President Global Media Distribution and Business Operations, said: “Perform is and has been a trusted partner for us and we look forward to deepening our collaboration, including the management of international digital platforms around the world. Perform’s expertise will deliver exciting local content to the many passionate, international fans.”
