NBA: League confirmed: LeBron block was Goaltending

The NBA confirmed in its Last Two Minute Report that the controversial LeBron James vs. Victor Oladipo block in Game 5 between the Pacers and Cavaliers was a goal thing. The block has had a decisive influence on the outcome of the game.

At 95:95, Oladipo had pulled to the basket and went up to the basket 5 seconds before the end. James, however, blocked the attempt. A short time later he sunk the game winner for his Cavaliers on the other side.

The NBA report now states that LeBron only touched the ball at the block after it was already on the board. This is automatically accompanied by a goal thing, which would have meant 2 points and leadership for the Pacers.

The disadvantaged Oladipo was sure right after the game that it hadn’t been a clean block of LeBrons.
