NBA: Warriors: Curry in full training, questionable for game 1

Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors has trained fully with the team for the first time. So he could be available to play against the Pelicans.

“Steph has trained at 100 percent,” said Head Coach Steve Kerr in a media round. “He went through everything and it looked very good.” The team has therefore upgraded the superstar and double MVP to “questionable” for game 1 against the Pelicans (Sun, 4.30 a.m.).

“We need to see how his body reacts to the training now, then he’ll do another session. But, as I said, the impressions today were very positive,” Kerr added.

Curry had contracted an inner ligament stretch of second degree in the knee on 23 March. The injury was inflicted on him by fellow player JaVale McGee, who fell into Curry’s leg. Since that incident, the 30-year-old has been missing from the defending champion.
