Ice Hockey World Championship: Germany’s squad has been determined – DEB Team with Draisaitl

The German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB) has announced the squad for the World Championship in Denmark. National coach Marco Sturm has nominated three NHL pros.

Besides Leon Draisaitl (Edmonton Oilers), Dennis Seidenberg (New York Islanders) and Korbinian Holzer (Anaheim Ducks) from the NHL will also be present. “The core of the preparation squad will also form the framework for the World Cup. The experienced players from the NHL and DEL are our leaders. Including debutants, we have a healthy mix in the squad,” Sturm explained.

The 2019 Ice Hockey World Championship will take place in Denmark from 4 to 20 May. The DAZN streaming service shows all games of the tournament. Here you can find all information about the World Cup and the German group.
