NBA: Media: George “already gone” from OKC

According to media reports, Paul George has already decided to leave Oklahoma City Thunder. The superstar is most likely Unrestricted Free Agent.

ESPN insider Ryen Russillo reports in his podcast that he has learned from internal circles that George is “already gone” and done with the Thunder. If he does not withdraw his $20.7 million player option, he can sign anywhere as an unrestricted free agent.

Where he’s going hasn’t been decided yet – but that he’s leaving OKC is. The fact that George had repeatedly stressed in past interviews that he could imagine a whereabouts was justified by Russillo arguing that George was someone “who knows what he has to say.

PG-13 had only changed from the Pacers to the Thunder for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis last summer. He put on 21.9 points and 5.7 rebounds. He could not prevent the disappointing first-round out of the team.
